Terms of Service

Last updated November 2, 2026

These terms cover your use of Aplomo, a tool for preparing for job interviews. By using Aplomo, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Who can use Aplomo

You must be 18 or older. During the beta, Aplomo is invite-only, and you’ll also accept a short beta agreement that asks you to keep the beta confidential.

Your account

You sign in with Google or a code sent to your email. Keep access to that account secure; you’re responsible for what happens in your Aplomo account.

Your content

What you add to Aplomo, such as your résumé, stories and notes, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Aplomo for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for having the right to upload what you add.

AI suggestions

Aplomo uses AI to draft answers, research companies and suggest cues. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important before you rely on it, and only present experience that is truly yours.

No guarantees about jobs

Aplomo helps you prepare. It can’t promise interviews, offers or any hiring outcome, and role-fit notes are guidance, not predictions.

Using Cuecard

Cuecard can listen to a call to transcribe questions. Some places and some employers require everyone’s consent before a call is recorded or transcribed. You’re responsible for using listening only where it’s allowed, and for following the rules of any interview you take part in.

Fair use

Please don’t:

Beta

Aplomo is in beta. Features may change, break or be removed, and there may be limits on how much you can use some features. We may use the feedback you send to improve Aplomo, without owing you anything for it.

Ending your use

You can stop using Aplomo at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or end the beta, and we’ll give notice when we reasonably can.

Disclaimer and liability

Aplomo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on Aplomo’s suggestions.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top and let you know in Aplomo when the change is significant. Continuing to use Aplomo means you accept the updated terms.
